Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ICC Operator to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

What You'll Be Doing:
It’s being developed to play a key role in monitoring construction and delivery of The Line project.
This is an exciting new project and will have a major impact in supporting people, controlling risk, ensuring safety, delivering results and facilitating continuous improvement.
As a result of this there is now a fantastic opportunity to join the ICC and be one of the key members of the new team as we firstly launch the ICC and then continue its development into a major Control Room
The main duties of the role are as follows:-
Maintain oversight of project progress planned against actual delivery.
Monitor telemetry systems alarms and data from remote monitoring solutions.
Manage escalation to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of issues and incidents reported to the control room and ensure that all equipment/systems faults are recorded in the control logging system (Service Now)..
Use the systems as designed, following the pre-agreed and standard procedures; whilst also looking out for, and escalating, ideas for continual improvement.
Analyse data from a wide range of systems to proactively manage the delivery program with task owners.
Identify risk and likely impact on program from available data.
Develop reports to identify improvement opportunities and action plans with task owners using Controllers shall be responsible for producing daily reports on the performance of the project delivery activities and any issues or incidents that have been reported.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
At least 5 years' experience in a high pressure logistics management role
HNC/HND in a relevant engineering/construction discipline would be an advantage
Broad knowledge and experience in the maintenance of project management or infrastructure asset management and safety requirements
Very strong working knowledge and experience of project management and or construction.
Ability to make decisions regarding project delivery and incidents and, when required, ensuring work continues to programme whilst remaining calm in high pressure situations.
Strong IT skills and the ability to work with a wide range of advance technology and systems.
Have good interpersonal communication (verbal, written and listening) skills
Ability to convey complicated information to senior management team members as well as providing instructions to delivery teams.
Preferred experience of common continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean / Six Sigma / Agile
Communication skills must be in English to a high standard (e.g. ESOL level), with Arabic as a highly desirable but not required second language.
We are looking for people available to start training from 26th March and be able to commit to an initial 3 months on a 24/7 roster. Shift patterns have yet to be confirmed.
There will be an opportunity to continue in the role long term should performance be up to the required standard.
