30% of the food produced globally gets wasted. If food waste were a country, it would be the 3rd largest in terms of global greenhouse gas emissions. ResQ Club exists to resolve this massive, complex and stupid problem – in other words, to make zero food waste a reality, globally.
Impossible problems require unconventional minds. We are constantly looking for talented people who can challenge the status quo, find creative yet sustainable solutions, and – as empathic team members – do their part in making sure the work is meaningful and fun for everyone involved.
We’re now hiring a Product Manager to take our supply-side (B2B) service development to the next level. Your role will involve gathering insights and delving into what genuinely matters for our ResQ partners, while also identifying new business opportunities. Most importantly, when a great idea emerges, you know how to break it down, apply process thinking, and execute a development plan.
As the Product Manager at ResQ Club, you will…
- Take ownership of ResQ’s partner-centric practices and insights that support product and business development as well as strategy
- Gather partner and market insights from various sources, and identify and conceptualise new business opportunities based on the insights
- Develop new product concepts and features
- Manage the product development projects for our demand-side
- Improve our partner-facing processes and communication
You might work on projects like:
- Improving the onboarding experience for our B2B users
- Streamlining our B2B offering to help us to focus on better serving our users
- Identifying how we might want to modify our existing B2B offering to support new markets and segments
Our ideal candidate
Is…
- Able to translate abstract concepts or product requirements into detailed technical specifications that developers can follow to build software effectively
- Comfortable engaging with partners and internal stakeholders alike
- An empathic team player who is at home working in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of design and data specialists as well as developers
- An independent professional who can develop new ways of working in an organization
- Committed to our Code of Conduct and working towards a better future (this is a requirement ️)
And has…
- A minimum of two years of previous product management experience
- A combination of B2B understanding and product development methodology along with understanding the basics of software development.
- Excellent prioritization and influencing skills.
- HoReCa experience and/or expertise is considered a big plus
NB: In an ideal world, all these qualities are combined in one person who happens to want to work with us. In the real world, this is more of a wish list for the genie in the bottle and we strongly encourage people to apply despite not necessarily ticking all the boxes.
